Workshop

23/10/09 03:39 pm

I recently ran a pastel portraits workshop for secondary school teachers as part of the Annual Secondary Conference at Southampton City Art Gallery. As you can see it was held in the gallery where the BP exhibition is currently on show. They worked so hard and produced two impressive portraits each in just over an hour.

BP Award in Southampton

29/09/09 07:20 am

My Mum is coming home! The BP Award Exhibition has finished in London and has been packed up and moved here to Southampton. The private view is this Wednesday evening and the exhibition will be open to the public on Friday 2nd October. Looking forward to it although I always get a bit nervous about private views, I’m a hermit at heart.

I’m going to run a few portrait workshops some time in October, haven’t sorted out the dates yet, email me if you’re interested.

Sorry again for ignoring my blog, can’t seem to keep up to date. Too busy.
Just to let you know my painting ‘Maggie’ is soon to be featured in my ‘animations’ or ‘painting process’ section so you can see the stages I went through…next week hopefully.
