The second prize went to Michael Gaskell’s ‘Tom’ a beautiful small painting seen on the right just above that man’s shoulder in the photo. Next to it is one of my favourites in the exhibition Movers and Shakers Pat and Geoffrey Eastop by Jennifer McRae

Private View

Met a bunch of inspiring young people at the BP private view last night. They are from the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology and on friday they will be performing songs inspired by their favourite paintings at the exhibition. I’m privileged as ‘Maggie’ is one of their chosen pictures, shame I can’t be there.. hopefully I’ll post the video later.
